Abstract:
The transition to sustainable development makes it necessary to include environmental factors into the basic socioeconomic indicators. In this paper the environmental constrains are integrated in determining the competitiveness of industrial enterprises. The fundamental distinction of the environmentally adjusted competitiveness of industrial enterprises is the employment of the environmentally adjusted indicators. So, if the company’s activity is detrimental to the environment due to unsustainable use of resources or environmental pollution, it leads to a change in all major economic indicators.
