RUSSIA IN THE GLOBAL TITANIUM MARKET

Abstract: There is information about titanium brunch, its development and interrelation with other branches of a civil economy and a military segment is given in the article. It is shown, in which branches the requirement of the titanium increases. The requirement of rolled titanium for release of commercial planes is given. There are notes, how the world financial crisis has affected 2008-2009 long-term forecasts on development of the world titanium market. There is a basic plant flow diagram of the titanium sponge. There are volumes of output and the forecast till 2014, the average titanium prices. There is information about VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation – Russian enterprise of titanium and titanium alloys. Basic competitors are present. There are conclusions on development of Russian and world titanium branch.
