POSITION OF RUSSIA IN THE WORLD MARKET OF SERVICES

Abstract: The paper is considering the features of the services market in Russia and the aspects of the country’s integration into the global market of services. The author estimates Russia’s position from the point of the exports and imports of services, reveals the major trends in the national services market, points out the need to improve legislation in the process of the country’s accession to the General Agreement on Trade in Services ( GATS ). Special attention is paid to the current state and development prospects of various services sectors in Russia, in particular, financing and transportation services, as well as those in the space launches.
