PROBLEMS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STRATEGY TO DEVELOP RUSSIA’S METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY

Abstract: The paper analyzes the set of key indexes of the “Strategy to develop the Russian Federation metallurgical sector until 2020†approved by the Russian Federation Ministry for Industry and Energy. The analysis is proceeding from the need of domestic metallurgical companies in investment resources and points to their possible sources. Some problems are revealed that could impede realization of the industrial policy in the metallurgical sector as regards the provision of investment resources in quantities stipulated by the “Strategy†.
