OPTIMIZATION OF A COMPANY’S BUSINESS PORTFOLIO

P. P. Krylatkov

Russian Journal of Industrial Economics, 2015, issue 1

Abstract: The paper considers feasibility of optimizing an organization’s business portfolio by attracting government orders and using outsourcing. A modified G. Markowitz model is suggested as a theoretical substantiation of shaping the investment portfolios at the stock market. The combination in a business portfolio of the “net†diversification with the importation and exportation of types of business makes it possible to make more efficient enterprise’s portfolios. Essentially, all this is an analogy of the optimization of investment portfolios at the stock market by composing the “credit†and “loan†portfolios.
