MINING COMPANIES DIVERSIFICATION STRATEGY IN THE CURRENT ECONOMIC LANDSCAPE

Abstract: The article deals with diversification strategy of mining companies in the current economic landscape. The authors analyze main trends in global mining industry development, cover four perspective growth models for miners, describe product and regional asset portfolio evolution of global mining players The article gives analyses of Russian miners’ strategies and their aspirations for business diversification.
