METHOD OF CALCULATION TURNOVER PERIOD STOCKS IN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES OF PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Abstract: In this article the terms "turnover",  "turnover period" of wealth are defined. The basic methods of calculating this indicator are discussed here, their characteristics  and limitations have been identified. To ensure a common methodological approach for the calculation of one of the most important  indicators of working capital the period of turnover, the author proposed a method of calculation, based on the grouping of items according to the principle of the nomenclature of range of homogeneity. We developed and offered the basic parameters for assessing the effectiveness of management of production reserves in the petrochemical  industry. The proposed method was tested on the leading petrochemical  industry in Russia, the results have predetermined  its practical application in the management of industrial stocks in the industry.
