MARKET OIL ASIA-PACIFIC REGION AND THE PROSPECTS FOR EXPANDING RUSSIAN OIL SEGMENT

Abstract: This article highlights a number of geo-economic issues associated with the diversification of supplies of Russian energy resources, namely the prospects for Russian oil in the most rapidly growing global market for the Asia-Pacific region. Construction and commissioning of OJSC «AK» Transneft «mega-pipeline» Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean and as a consequence, the arrival at the Asia-Pacific oil market additional volumes of high-grade oil ESPO (ESPO) dictates the need to predict the prospects for development, including extensions export capacity of the pipeline, as well as the possibility of transformation of sorts in the ESPO marker grade of oil to the Asia-Pacific region. The greatest attention is paid to economic analysis capacity of the oil market APR, subject composition of its customers, and forecast the dynamics of consumption trends in the growth of some regional players. and assessing the prospects of winningRussia's own segment of the oil market in the Asia Pacific region.
