Self-Evaluation of an Enterprise as a Tool to Improve its Efficiency

Abstract:
An important moment in the activities of any company is the improvement of the quality management system. One of the most commonly used now management tool is the self-assessment, which allows to analyze the activity and to identify problems in the development, to develop measures to overcome them and to trace the dynamics of improvements during repeated self-esteem. In Russia, the RF Government Prize in the field of quality.is used to perform the self-estimation. The model covers the opportunities and results of the organization activity. In presented article the Russian Federation Government Prize in quality model is applied for self-esteem of an industrial enterprise . The main indicators of the company for compliance with the award criteria are applied, they reveal the impact of each criterion, depending on the maximum possible score. Based on the petal chart showing the contribution of each model criteria the problem areas associated with both the business itself and the development of the industry are defined. The article describes the changing in volume of defective products in the past few years. In conclusion, measures to improve activities in the field of quality management are proposed.
