English-speaking training of the graduate students specializing in the field of economy of modern Russia

Abstract:
The article considers one of the problems devoted to postgraduates’ professional training specifically related to acquiring profound foreign languages knowledge demanded in a modern business, and raising Russian university graduates’ competitiveness in the international labour market. Moreover, the article includes a list of relevant competences determined for postgraduates in the process of working on and uphold  PhD thesis. The authors, firstly, systemized foreign language professionally oriented competences for postgraduates including ones intended for the real economy and, secondly, determined the factors helped along their achievements. Virtue samples of using foreign data bases in the postgraduates’ training are provided as well as some guidance on improving the teaching methods in foreign languages on the final stage of Russian educational system.
