Abstract:
The article substantiates the role of intellectual capital as one of the most important factors to ensure sustainable development of the Russian Federation and its regions in the conditions of formation of the innovation economy. Identifies key issues requiring research in the sphere of control of the spatial distribution of intellectual capital. Adaptation-based models "Intellectual capital monitor (ICM) D. J. Williams. The Andriessen and C. D. Stem to the current Russian statistical indicators proposed system for quantifying the concentration of intellectual capital in the region.
