Abstract: Intermediate results of development of "green business" in Russia and prerequisites of its further development are analysed. Parallels with the organization of this movement abroad are drawn and the main shortcomings of the domestic organization which are reduced to its insufficient financing are revealed. Prematurity of development of "green business" in our country is stated.
