Abstract: This article discusses the innovative development of the national economy. Disclose the specific problems of innovative development of Tajikistan's economy. Analyzed legislative base of innovative development of the economy. On specific statistical figures examines the state of the research sphere, human resources and the volume of scientific and technical work in the Republic of Tajikistan. The basic principles of public-private partnerships in innovation. The role of the state in the formation and development of innovative processes. Identified and disclosed barriers to innovative development of the national economy. The basic ways of forming an innovative investment climate and addressing the formation of an innovative economy. It describes the institutional model of funding for research and development, providing for the establishment of institutes of innovative development. The main directions of reforming science and innovation sectors of the economy of the republic. Outlined the main measures to stimulate innovative economic development of Tajikistan.
