Abstract: This article discusses the medical management in the narrow and broad sense. In a narrow sense - is professional management, that is the line of professional conduct of health professionals, particularly doctors, treatment strategy, focused on the result. The criterion for evaluation of their activities is the quality of health care and long-term outcomes. In a broad sense – important areas of social management, aimed at human health, the preservation of his disability and longevity, in fact the study of the organization and management of health care in terms of financing the budget and insurance. That's Center for Health Management, opened in Tomsk State University in 2000, provides professional training (retraining) of managers and specialists for health care organizations that can effectively use in their professional activity latest business technology.
