THE PRACTICE OF MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS IN THE BAKING INDUSTRY

V. V. Samoylenko

Business Strategies, 2016, issue 12

Abstract: The article offers author's vision of the main lessons of integration of baking industry enterprises to holding structure. Merger-driven growth of the business doesn’t always lead to long-term sustainable development of integrated companies. Incentives, goals, strategy, plan and the actual process of unification influence the growth process significantly. From this standpoint, the study of mergers and acquisitions of companies in the food industry can significantly reduce the number of ineffective solutions in the integration process.
