Abstract:
Scrap market in the Russian Federation today faces serious structural and market changes. In addition, in the scrap industry is occurred the institutionalization of inter-firm interaction. In this process, now comes the practical testing of the two options for coordination of industry players: using the newly created SRO and through existing for decades in the country's system of Chambers of Commerce and industry (CCI). With a view to identifying the most effective options for the development of sectoral cooperation it is necessary to evaluate and compare the potential costs for the functioning of institutions, the usefulness of the results, the degree of reflection of the interests of industry players, as well as the optimality of the proposed functionality.
