Abstract: In the context of modern customs administration, new trends are emerging that need to be implemented. Today, one of the important and internationally recognized technologies is blockchain. The article deals with the main directions of its development, the principle of operation, the possible use in the system of customs authorities, as well as the prospects for its development.
