Abstract:
The expected consequences of the Government's decision to temporarily ban imports of petroleum products from abroad are analyzed from a macroeconomic perspective. Contradictions of this kind of selective tactical decisions from the point of view of business strategy within the national economy are considered. The problems of such sectoral tactical decisions are analyzed in terms of their direct and indirect impact on the development of socio-economic processes in the country. Potential ways to smooth out the contradictions of tactical and strategic decisions in the interests of domestic business development are demonstrated.
