INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION: A REGIONAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract: To ensure the achievement of a number of national development goals of Russia, the need to form an effective intellectual property management system at the macro- and meso-level of the economy becomes especially relevant. This article shows, by the example of the Vologda Oblast, that in order to obtain a positive social and economic effect from intellectual property it is necessary to ensure the processes of its creation, legal protection and commercialization through planning, organization, coordination, stimulation and control.
