Abstract: In the article there is analyzed evolution of the foreign trade relations of the European Union at the present stage of their evolution. The research conducted by author allows to draw conclusions on the most actual trends in foreign trade of EU, as world's largest exporter of goods and services. As shown by the authors, an active trade balance serves another important factor contributing to the mutually beneficial trade of EU countries.
