University Management: Practice and Analysis, issue 1

Abstract: Management of the quality of teaching/learning process and teacher's activity is the main part of the system of educational quality management. Teacher needs to have some new pedagogical competencies, which correspond to modern educational paradigm. University teachers are not motivated in development of their pedagogical competencies. It is possible to raise the level of teachers' motivation by generalization of students' opinions about the quality of educational process. Students polling about the educational process quality and detailed analysis of the results is a diagnostic stage, which helps to realize the individual approach during the teachers retraining. To raise teachers' qualification in accordance with modern educational paradigm is to manage educational process quality.
