Abstract: The article tells about the experience of strategic planning of the Ugra State University. Discusses the status and main directions of development of the University, the concept of strategic management, which include the optimization of the educational, scientific, administrative, economic activities, the demand for University graduates in the labour market, the improvement and development of personnel potential, improvement of housing conditions, social support of students and employees, etc.
