University Management: Practice and Analysis, issue 3

Abstract: We present the results of employment monitoring of graduates of PhD programs in social sciences and humanities. A comparative analysis is given of the distribution of the graduates with a PhD (Candidate of Sciences) degree and those having no such degree with respect to the types of their activities, groups of occupations, and positions. The influence of the degree on the graduates’ professional career is examined.
