On the way to the entrepreneurial university: experience of Great Britain

Abstract:
The paper focuses on the factors contributing to the success of the UK universities recognised as Entrepreneurial University. The paper is grounded in approach towards entrepreneurial university developed by the UK National Council for Entrepreneurship in Education. It evaluates the experience of eight universities, winners of the Entrepreneurial University of the Year since 2008. The paper emphasises the importance of transformational leadership which impact the universities strategic goals and contribute to embedding entrepreneurial practices throughout the university to foster entrepreneurial students and staff.
