Abstract: The article considers the peculiarities of the formation and assessment of competences of teachers of the entrepreneurial university in the conditions of modernization of professional education. Accounting the changes of the legislation and the development of the National qualifications system the approaches defined to the formation of the competency model. The experience of the regional entrepreneurial university describes to stimulate the development of entrepreneurial and innovative competence of university teacher.
