Abstract: Features of new edition of the nomenclature of specialties of science workers are considered. The analysis of its structural and substantial changes causing a re-registration of a network of councils of doctor's and master's theses protection is carried out. Features of the generated network of councils of doctor's and master's theses protection in branch and territorial cuts are considered.
