Abstract:
The relationship of the innovation activity with the higher education institution spheres and functions has been considered. The role of the innovation component as a factor for development, improvement of performance and competitiveness of the higher education institution activities including the scientific one has been determined. Hierarchic structure for managing the scientific and innovation activity of a higher education institution has been suggested.
