Higher education institution international management: Tomsk polytechnic university experience

Abstract:
International management at a Higher Education Institution is considered based on the Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) as an example. International cooperation areas and particular results obtained by TPU over a five year period (2005 -2009) before getting  National Research University status are given. The University strategic tasks and indicators for international activity up to 2018 are stated. The article pays attention on training managers and faculty members for international cooperation development. The patern of joint TPU and NTF seminar program  Higher Education Institution International Management realized in 2009 is given.
