Abstract:
The paper describes the experience of creating a quality management system (QMS) at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts, Ekaterinburg, Russia. The Academys quality concept is presented in brief, and the main stages in the establishment of the QMS and its scope are outlined. The authors present a QMS model, structure of the documentation, levels of management and the QMS organizational structure. The paper briefly describes the audits and self-evaluations that have been carried out, which should enable the reader to judge about the extent to which the QMS meets the Standard Model, GOST R ISO 9001-2001 and about its level of maturity.
