Abstract:
A multi-level distributed information system for the management of student cohort in the State University of Nizhni Novgorod is described. The systems principal features include: integration of data from different units in a single database, offering prompt support for decision-making to the Universitys administration, access to the software system for users from various categories of University units and different management levels. Main principles of system design are discussed. The general concept and the structure of the system are described, along with the peculiarities of its technical implementation and database architecture.
