Abstract:
By inspiration, I read the bible three times. The first reading gives birth to the idea, the second defines the objective while the third actualizes the objective which is this write-up called the Statistics of the Bible. The scope covers the number of books 78 (51 old testament, 27 new testament), the chapters 1345 (1085 old, 260 new), the verses 36095 (28139 old, 7956 new) and average verse 27 (26 old, 31 new). By way of upgrade, the number of words may be included in subsequent edition of this version. However, the numbers of words vary according to the bible version.
