Abstract:
Rice farming in Senegal relies on small family farms and plays a crucial role in meeting food needs. However, local supply is insufficient and threatens food security in terms of availability, stability and accessibility. This justifies the generation and dissemination of Korean technologies aimed at increasing rice production. The objective of this study is to assess the impact of the project on small hold farmers’ food security. The treatment effect method was used with the double difference approach following a baseline study in 2015 on a random sample of 1200 households in the Senegal River Valley..
