Abstract: The mammalian, reptilian and amphibian fauna are capital vertebrate classes of the Gaza Strip. They have never been studied in Al-Mawasi ecosystem which lies in the south-western corner of the Gaza Strip. The current study aims at surveying the mammalian, reptilian and amphibian fauna of Al-Mawasi ecosystem. Frequent site visits and discussions with local inhabitants were the main tools used to determine the vertebrate fauna of Al-Mawasi ecosystem. A total number of 37 mammalian, reptilian and amphibian species, belonging to 25 families and 8 orders, were recorded. The mammals were represented by 14 species of different sizes, with the Etruscan Pygmy Shrew (Suncus etruscus) is the smallest and the Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) is the biggest..
