Abstract:
Ring-spinning accounts for about two third of global long and short staple yarn production. The main reason for the dominance of ring-spinning over other spinning systems is its versatility in terms of yarn linear density and fibre type, and also the superior quality of ring-spun yarns over those produced by other systems.
