Abstract: In the view of sustainability, an attempt has been made to explore the possibilities of producing high-quality apparel fabric from selected unconventional natural fibers such as Banana, Hemp, Linen, and Ramie. A comparative study was made on the mechanical behavior of these fiber fabrics and their respective union fabrics with cotton. The mechanical properties investigated.
