Abstract:
Desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) is a small round cell tumor usually presents as abdominal lump or omental metastasis [1]. DSRCT is aggressive malignant neoplasm of young male adults and distant metastases occurs at the time of diagnosis [2]. EWS-WT1 fusion protein and (11;22) (p13;q12) translocation, the N-terminal domain of EWS to the C-terminal DNA-binding domain of WT1 is the pathogenesis resulting in an aberrant transcription factor.
