Abstract: This study determines the strength of the effect and significance of different predictors of children’s developmental vulnerability and multiple challenges using multilevel modeling of nested data measured at levels of child, neighbourhood and regional geographies. Furthermore, delving into greater depth, this study identifies which factors are predictors at each level of the nested hierarchy, which factors present modified effects due to two or more predictors from cross-levels of the nested hierarchy, and the variations of effects across different levels of the hierarchy.
