Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) lowering and hypolipidemic effects of Ficus religiosa in high fat diet induced dyslipidemic rats. As there is no satisfactory and safe treatment option for dyslipidemia, a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, derivatives from medicinal plants can be a good alternative for its treatment.
