Abstract: Diabetes (Type 1 and 2) is a chronic metabolic disorder impacting both the mind and the body of the individual. The impact on the mind includes emotional, social, cognitive and psychosocial wellbeing of the individual. Thus, diabetes management must not only focus on the impact of the disease on the body but also understand its cognitive, psychological and lifestyle implications.
