Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus (DM) affects more than 382 million people around the world, of whom 90% are diagnosed with type-2 DM (T2DM) [1]. The prevalence of T2DM has increased dramatically during the last 2 decades. The Arab world is not immune from this epidemic in the prevalence of T2DM.
