Abstract: Type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity have both been associated with inflammation and with each other [1,2]. Those associations have been established with a number of physiological processes, albeit the underlying mechanisms and progressions in certain diseases of inflammation, type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity may not be fully understood [3].
