Abstract: Desmoid tumors are most often developed by women. The role of hormones in these tumors is being studied. In this article, a review of the hormonal manipulation has been performed, focusing on the expression of androgen receptors and whether antiandrogen therapy could provide inhibitory effects on desmoid tumors, especially on men.
