Abstract:
HER2 positive breast cancer is well known to be associated with poor prognosis. However, the prognosis of these patients has markedly improved since the introduction of trastuzumab for the treatment of HER2 positive breast cancer in the adjuvant and metastatic setting. The aim of this study was to determine the rate and pattern of recurrences in patients with HER2 positive breast cancer treated with adjuvant trastuzumab.
