Abstract: Currently pharmaceutical metabolic engineering is playing an important role in production and designing of drugs as well as precursors of drug. Metabolic engineering is the refinement of industrial organisms by studying the physiological consequences of particular genetic changes in microorganisms, plants, and animals, and also devising the mathematical and computational methods to understand connections between genes and cell function. Upgradation of metabolic engineering by consolidate use of global technologies of systems biology, capabilities of synthetic biology, and evolutionary engineering enables optimal design of a microorganism for production of natural and synthetic drugs in a better optimized and multiplexed way on a genome scale, with reduced time and effort.
