Abstract: Phemphigus vulgaris is a rare autoimmune disease is characterized by the loss of cellular adhesion due to the formation of IgG autoantibodies against desmoglein 1 or 3. The incidence of PV occurs in ratio of 2:1(Female: Male). It mainly causes erosions and blisters of the skin and mucous membranes all over body. If not treated the disease has a high morbidity rate (5%- 10%) in most of cases.
