Neuromodulation Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa A Brief Review

Abstract: To date, three different neuromodulation techniques have been used to treat a total of 154 patients with anorexia nervosa. In the present review, we describe these techniques and the treatment outcomes reported in the relevant literature. Although the reported results are good overall, the results must be interpreted cautiously due to the heterogeneity of this disorder and the limitations (methodology, sample sizes) of those studies.
