Abstract: The main objective of this issue is to publish most complete and reliable source of information on research and current developments in the areas of aquaculture and oceanography. This issue covers areas in marine, brackish water and environmental aspects of fisheries. It provides an international forum for publication of papers in areas of fisheries science and aquaculture. Aquaculture contributed 43 per cent of aquatic animal food for human consumption in 2007 and is expected to grow further to meet the future demand.
