Abstract: The bottom shear stress (BSS) in a windy Mediterranean lagoon has been carefully investigated through numerical modelling. BSS maps have been obtained for the entire lagoon. The aim is to compare BSS with its critical value in the near shoreareas selected for SAV replanting which are subject to downwind coastal jets.
