Abstract: Hand hygiene, also known as hand washing, is the act of cleaning hands for the purpose of removing soil, dirt, and microorganisms. Medical hand hygiene refers to hygiene practices related to medical procedures. Proper Hand Washing is one of the most important things you can do to help prevent and control the spread of many illnesses. Good hand hygiene will reduce the risk of several infections like flu, food poisoning and healthcare associated contagious infections.
