Abstract:
The increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases is influenced by demographic changes and globalization. In recent times, demographic transformations have been generated, decreasing the fertility rate and infant mortality, while increasing the birth rate. These changes affect the population in their aging. Chronic noncommunicable diseases are increasing in developed and developing countries related to changes in lifestyle [1].
